Teething is no fun for your precious babe (or you). It can cause babies to be more fussy, to take shorter naps, and even to develop a fever or a little rash. It’s so sad to see your babe in pain. Miles has been teething for the last 2 weeks! I don’t love the idea of giving him medicine, so I’ve been researching all the natural remedies and here’s what I’ve found!

1. Camilla Teething Relief Drops
Miles loves these. They come in individual disposable droppers making them easy to carry on the go. I just keep a handful in our diaper bag. I love these because they are made with natural plant ingredients. There are actually only 3 ingredients – Chamomilla 9C HPUS, Phytolacca Decandra 5C HPUS, and Rheum 5C HPUS, which are all plants. They give more details about each ingredient on their website here! The relief is temporary, but a nice distraction from the pain.

2. Frozen Celery
This will feel so good on your baby’s gums!! It’s cold and the perfect texture for them to sink their teeth into. I love this because it’s a whole food and super easy to grab. Also not very messy.
3. Dr. Talbot’s Homeopathic Pain + Fever Relief
This is so effective! And natural. The dream combo. It’s made with 8 homeopathic ingredients. The first 5 are plant derived – Calendula officinalis 12X HPUS, Chamomilla, Echinacea angustifolia 12X HPUS, Eupatorium perfoliatum 12X HPUS, and Hepar sulphuris calcareum 12X HPUS (this one is “prepared from the inner layer of calcium-rich oyster shells that are mixed with flowers off sulfur and heated,” according to Boironusa.com). Sulphur is the next ingredient, then 2 cell salts – ferrous phosphoricum 12X HPUS, and Kali muriaticum 6X HPUS. I also had my holistic chiropractor check out the ingredients and he approved. We gave Miles a dose of this after he had already had a rough 4 days and he was a new boy for about 2 hours. It was nice to give him some true relief from his pain.

4. Frozen Washcloth
This is so easy and effective! It’s easy for babe’s to sink their teeth into and so satisfying. Also something you won’t need to go to the store for.
5. Homemade Frozen Yogurt Bites
The ingredients I use are plain Greek Yogurt, Peanut Butter, Just Ingredients Vanilla Bean protein powder, and vanilla extract. Just mix everything together and plop into little dollops on a cookie sheet. Then freeze. (If you’re feeling adventurous, melt a little chocolate and coconut oil for the top, so yum). These are the perfect texture for your babe to sink their teeth into and also so delicious. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t sneak a couple too.
6. Teethers
These are BPA free and ring shaped so easy for your babe to grip. Also they’re just a fun little toy and can provide some entertainment for your babe if nothing else.

7. Happy Baby Organic Teethers
I feel like these will be more exciting for your babe if they’re younger (under a year) and haven’t been introduced to a lot of food yet (they’re kind of bland lol). But they’re easy for babe to grip and nice for them to sink their teeth into! Super nice for on the go!

So far, these are remedies we’ve tried and loved! I hope they help you! All baby’s are different (obv) so try all of these until you find one YOUR baby loves! I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas for other remedies! Comment below all your thoughts.
