As a first time mom it felt like there were a million baby products I needed to buy. It was pretty much a part time job to research and buy them all. So, I’ve compiled a list of my top 10 most FAVORITE baby products just for you. Some are big, some are small, but I love them all (and I’m a poet). Some I researched for hours, others were gifted or bought on a whim. Either way, they are must haves for your precious babe (in my humble opinion). And my hope is to offer you this solid list of quality (and reasonably priced) items to save you some research hours.

1. Uppababy Vista stroller
First on the list is the Uppababy Stroller – my most favorite baby product we own. My husband and I LOVE walks so it was important to us to have a stroller that we loved. Obviously, if you aren’t much of a walker, your money can probably be better spent elsewhere. Even I was against the Uppababy at first because I thought I had to be boujee to have an Uppababy. But you don’t (or maybe I’m more boujee than I thought).
The Uppababy Vista converts into a double stroller (additional seat) and triple stroller (additional piggyback aka footstool). So, it’s an investment in your future family. It’s made of high quality material that outlasts many of the cheaper strollers. My husband and I tested many strollers and this was by far the smoothest ride. It was so easy to put together and is so user friendly. I could go on, but again, you can find all the details in my stroller post here!!
If you’re a mom, you deserve an Uppababy no matter the cost!! I also will say – we found ours on Facebook marketplace new in box for a steal of a deal!! I did spend A LOT of time searching for it, but it was worth it because we’re obsessed.
2. Snuggle Me Organic
We used the Snuggle Me Organic every day for the first 4 months of Miles’ life. It was SO nice to have a place to set him and know he wouldn’t roll out of. He took most of his naps in his Snuggle Me. It was easy to throw in the car and take with us so we pretty much brought it everywhere. Then we knew he would have a secure place to nap wherever we went. I also just loved that it was high quality organic material (all the boujeeness for our baby).
3. Dobie Sticks
Technically these are called teething sticks. But my dad (aka. Dobie) is the one who found them so they’re Dobie sticks to us. Anyways, they’re $10 on Amazon for a pack of 6 and Miles is so entertained by them. In fact, all babies we’ve shared them with are obsessed with this baby product. They’re so easy to pack, feel good on their gums, BPA free, and not a big deal if you lose them. A win win win.
4. Pura Diapers
Pura diapers are the perfect combination of clean ingredients (that actually work) and a reasonable price point. I really wanted to find an organic diaper because it’s so up close and personal to Miles. Pura diapers are made of organic cotton and plant based materials. They are free of fragrance, chlorine, latex, parabens, and phthalates. They’re eco friendly (if that’s something that’s important to you). They also do their job! Miles has maybe blown out of them twice, but they very much contain all the things. They are more expensive than Costco diapers, but very reasonable compared with most organic/clean ingredient diapers. They’re available on Amazon and you can subscribe and save, which we love.
5. Uppababy Highchair
This high chair is newer to the market but we’re BIG fans. I love that it slides right up to the table because the tray is the perfect height – just taller than the table. It makes it feel like Miles is just sitting at the table with us. The footstool rotates 180 degrees to be shorter or taller so it grows with your baby (a footrest is very important to prevent choking). There are no seams in the seat (except the straps) making for super easy cleanup (a priority). It’s GreenGuard certified (again with the boujee). And it’s very aesthetic. A pro tip: we found ours on GoodBuy Gear new in an opened box for cheaper than Amazon!
6. Nuk Pacifiers
These pacifiers are orthodontist approved! The shape of them is modeled after the natural shape of a mother’s nipple to promote healthy oral development and prevent nipple confusion (which a lot of people worry about). The shape also ensures it doesn’t cover your baby’s nose, which I love. They are made of silicone, they’re BPA free, and they’re cute. They are reasonably priced and have different sizes (0-6 month and 6-18 month) so you can use them until your baby grows out of the pacifier stage!! Me and Miles give them a 10/10.
7. Nursing cover
If you’re going to nurse, this cover is a NEED. It has a rigid hoop at the neck so your baby has some air ventilation and you can look down and see your babe without using a hand (especially helpful the first couple of months because I did not have an extra hand). It’s so convenient and it’s not expensive. It’s also made of 100% cotton and comes in so many cute colors.
8. Nuna Pipa rx car seat
I spent hours researching our car seat. Hours and hours. The Nuna Pipa Rx won and I’ll tell you why. The major reason being it was the lightest car seat on the market that still did everything we wanted it to – safe and portable. It is safe because the base has a stability leg to absorb impact if necessary. It has “side impact protection” and a “heavy duty shell” according to Nuna’s website (Nuna), while still only being 7.6 pounds. It’s portable because it can be used without the base if necessary.
Portability was really important to me because if Miles was with his grandparents and they didn’t have our car (with the base) but there was an emergency, they could still take him wherever they needed to safely in his car seat. We also could travel (by plane) with the car seat without a base for less things to carry.
It has no added fire retardant chemicals (but is still flame resistant) and is GreenGuard certified (aka. no bad chemical emissions). It has an infant insert made of organic jersey cotton that you can remove when your baby gets bigger. The canopy is also extra long for maximal shade. It’s also compatible with our Uppababy stroller with an adaptor!
9. Portable pump
A portable pump is a must have baby product if you’re nursing. Whatever the brand/style you prefer, it is so convenient to be able to move around while pumping. Nursing ties you to the chair enough, so it was important to me to feel a little freedom while nursing. I linked the pump I have because it works great! It also comes with a pumping bra so you can be hands free. There are definitely fancier portable pumps on the market that you can insert right into your own bra, but they are pricier. But also worth it if you’re planning to pump a lot or are exclusively pumping! My pump was covered through insurance which influenced my decision to purchase this one. Either way, you should definitely look into your insurance before you purchase your pump!
10. Triangle toy
This is Miles’ most favorite toy. It entertains him for hours (okay not that long, but a long time). It’s the least aesthetic toy on the market, but the babies love it. His cousin is also obsessed. I really don’t want to be a beige mom (even though I love beige) so this toy is proof I’m not.
Wrap up
There you have it, my top 10 baby products!! I could go on, but I want to be helpful and not overwhelming. And I really believe this list is a solid starting place. My advice is to do your research on products, but also find people you trust and use their research!! Let me know YOUR favorite baby products in the comments, I cant wait to hear from you!
