10 Easy 4th of July Snacks

July 3, 2025 by Alexa Bontrager

If your last minute planning a 4th of July party, or just want to impress your friends with your festive snack contribution, I’m here to help!! Here are 10 festive but easy snack ideas to bring to YOUR 4th of July party. (7 and 8 are my personal favs).

1. American Flag Charcuterie Board

I’m obsessed with this. For the stripes. White can be different types of white cheeses (sliced or cubed) and crackers. And the red can be salami, pepperoni, summer sausage, strawberries, watermelon, cherry tomatoes, all the red! The stars are fun. Blueberry/blackberry background. Then cut some of your white cheese into star shapes and put them on top! A crowd pleaser for sure.

2. Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

The fruit salsa can be made with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, apples, or whatever you like – finely chopped. Just add a little honey or sugar and lemon juice and it’s literally magic. Also the chips are super simple. Buy a pack of flour tortillas and lay them flat on a sheet pan. Spread butter over the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. And bake at 350 degrees for 10 min! Here’s an amazing fruit salsa and cinnamon chip recipe!

3. Red Pepper Jelly with Cream Cheese Crackers

Garnish with blackberries/blueberries to get all the patriotic colors. This is simple but delicious. Just put the entire block of cream cheese on a cute plate (obsessed with this), top with a couple scoops of red pepper jelly, and garnish with your blueberries or blackberries! Serve your favorite crackers on the side. It’s sure to be a hit.

4. Strawberry, Blueberry, + Raspberry Ice Cubes

So easy!! Just freeze strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries in ice cube trays! You can use the ice cubes for water, lemonade, sparkling water, the options are endless. Just add the colorful ice cubes to cute cups (loving these) and you’ll have a festive drink!

5. Fruit Pizza

Okay yum. Sugar cookie crust, cream cheese frosting spread, and patriotic color fruits. Cut up strawberries and raspberries for the stripes and blueberries and blackberries for the stars! Here’s a delicious recipe for you!

6. Fruit Skewers

Easy but so aesthetic and fun! Grab the patriotic fruit – strawberries, raspberries, bananas, blueberries, and blackberries, and skew away!

7. White Chocolate Party Mix

One of my personal favorites. Mix your favorite cereal, nuts, and patriotic M&Ms and cover with white chocolate! Here’s a delicious recipe!

8. Strawberry Shortcake with Blueberries

I personally LOVE strawberry shortcake with biscuits, but choose your fav base!! (I make these sourdough biscuits, so YUM). Make your own whipped cream with heavy whipping cream and sugar! And then top with strawberries and blueberries (tossed with a little sugar). You’ll have a crowd pleaser for sure.

9. Taco Dip

Okay make your fav taco dip recipe in a 9×13 pan and top with American flag decorations!! Tomatoes and white cheese for the stripes. Blue corn tortillas or olives for the stars! Here’s a perfect recipe!

10. Pizza Flatbreads

Mini flatbreads or flatbread crackers, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and blueberries! Don’t sass ‘til you try it! Such a fun, patriotic take on pizza. Also mini everything is just more fun.

*There are also so many fun things you can do with food coloring, so I’d recommend buying these!! There are no artificial food dyes in them, so you can feel good about giving them to your kiddos!
